The bathroom has both bath and shower and the cottage is fitted
with colour TV, video and CD player. The kitchen area is well fitted
and has a fridge, electric cooker and hob and a microwave oven.
The cottage offers
peace, seclusion and tranquillity and is idyllically situated in
the North Devon countryside, surrounded by farms, set in the small
hamlet of Winsham about half a mile from the village of Knowle,
where there is a garage with a large shop and post office, and a
friendly family pub which serves good meals and bar snacks .

Braunton
is one and half miles away and has the usual shops, supermarket,
chemist, health centre and award winning Squires Fish and Chip
Restaurant.
Braunton Burrows Nature Reserve is well known for its rare wild
flowers, birds and butterflies and is ideal for picnics.

The old market town of Barnstaple is about seven miles away
and the spectacular sandy beaches of Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe
are within very easy reach. This is a location for a peaceful,
relaxing holiday, or for families, walkers and cyclists alike
it is an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful area
with the Tarka Trail and Exmoor in very close proximity.

The owners are always available to help in any emergency or to give
advice on the many varied local attractions. Well behaved pets are
welcome (subject to a small charge).
Please note any special requirements, e.g.highchair, cot etc, and
the number in your party on the booking form. Booking fee is £50
and the balance is due one month before the holiday. Please check
